Learning takes wing in our elementary schools with beginning reading instruction, mathematical investigations and science predictions and observations. Students learn to locate and interpret information, to think critically and to express their own ideas. They acquire knowledge, attitudes and skills to value and practice healthy, responsible lifestyles. Through the fine arts, they appreciate and enjoy artistic expression in diverse forms. Developmentally-appropriate activities help them improve their physical fitness levels and boost their confidence.
